Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer murdered 17 men and boys between 1978-1991. The murders involved rape, torture, dismemberment, necrophilia and cannibalism.
Dahmet would lure another man into his home on July 22,1991 Tracy Edwards. Dahmer would try to handcuff Edwards but, Edwars with the handcuffs hanging by one hand would escape Dahmer and alert a police car. A search of his home would uncover multiple photographs of murdered victims and human remains, including three severed heads and penises. Several corpses were found in his home stored in acid-filled vats, severed heads were also found in Dahmer’s refrigerator,implements for the construction of an altar of candles and human skulls were also found in his closet.
In January 1992 Dahmer was charged with 15 counts of murder and sentenced to 957 years in prison, or 15 life sentences.
Dahmer was beaten in prison on November 28, 1994 by another imate with a bar from a weight machine. He died of severe head trauma in the ambulance on the way to the hospital
